Crew Chiefs Responsibilities & Information

Please download the Excel spreadsheet and fill out ALL of the information. Once you have filled it out, save it to your hard drive or disk. Please save using the name of your Football crew (i.e. Upstate 8 Joe Smith 2005 Crew) and send it via an attachment to me. Information and/or updates WILL be distributed via email during the season so it will be important to have at least ONE crew member who feels comfortable in the use of email.

The schools have asked me to forward this information as a back-up to what you will be required to submit to them directly in order to make sure you get paid.

It is your responsibility to make sure ALL of the officials on your crew:

¨ Have attended an IHSA Rule Interpretation meeting,

¨ Belong to a local officials association and are members in good standing,

¨ Have complied with the IHSA regulations are have renewed their IHSA membership,

¨ Make sure that their status is that of an Active Official in good standing,

¨ Prior to the season you must fill out the Crew Data Form and return both to the Assignment Chairman and the school’s Athletic Director.

¨ ALL information must be current and include email, cell phones and pager numbers. Last minute changes due to weather, etc., do occur so please make sure we know how to get a hold of you on game day,

¨ During the season it is your responsibility to call the Athletic Director no later than Tuesday of game week to confirm game details,

¨ If there are any changes to the Crew that was hired for your game, it is your responsibility to notify the Assignment Chairman for all Preliminary and Varsity assignment,

¨ In order to receive consideration for 2006, please make sure you download the form from the IACAO website at www.iacao.org when available.

¨ ALL forms should be SENT to Ed Stanley!!!
